Saipem was founded as an independent company.

2017
60TH ANNIVERSARY

On the 60th anniversary of its founding, Saipem is now facing significant changes in the Oil and Gas industry. These stem mainly from excessive levels of globally available hydrocarbons, which have led to a sharp fall in prices and significantly lower levels of investment in the sector.
